The initial prenatal visit is an opportunity for us to get acquainted. We will address any questions, concerns, fears, or anxieties related to pregnancy. Additionally, we will talk about your birth goals and preferences, as well as various labor scenarios, including the advantages and disadvantages of recommended procedures and medications.
We offer unlimited email, text, and phone support to address any questions you might have during our collaboration.
We will have monthly video call sessions for the duration of our collaboration.
During the second prenatal visit, we will review and practice various comfort techniques, as well as revisit topics from our initial meeting. Additionally, we will cover fundamental baby care and babywearing techniques, and I will address any questions you might have.
As your due date approaches, I strongly suggest we arrange another prenatal meeting that involves a physical activity, such as walking or dancing. Engaging in these activities can be an enjoyable way for us to connect while also getting your body ready for labor and delivery.
Throughout your labor, I will join you at your home or the birthing center. I will stay with you, offering physical, emotional, and informational support whenever you need it.
Following the birth of your baby, I will stay with you until breastfeeding is established and will depart once your family is comfortably settled, allowing you some peaceful time to bond and rest.
A few days following your baby's birth, I will come for a postpartum visit. In this visit, we'll discuss your birth experience, your recovery process, and ensure that you and your family are transitioning smoothly into parenthood. I will offer resources, referrals, and informational handouts as necessary.
A concluding video call session will take place a few weeks following our face-to-face postpartum meeting.
